FROM CHIBOK TO DAPCHI: TALE OF GIGANTIC PARADOX SEASON ONE
FROM CHIBOK TO DAPCHI : TALE OF GIGANTIC PARADOX SEASON ONE
BY AGADA IKECHUKWU
Since the news of the Dapchi School Girls digital excursion coloured like abduction floated in from across the seas, the new media(social media), broadcast and print media buzzed with gripping narratives of the fairy tale turned weakly scripted movie.
Whilst peace took flight back to the families of the returned girls, their hair stood on one end and tipped over in merriment; their joy spilling from their souls into the air and sky high into the blue firmament. Such cannot be quantified of in the home of Leah Sharibu who are being crucified for her uncompromising faith in Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in the den of the make believe Lions. Perhaps they feared that she might open can of worms; if unchained with others, as a devout, principled christian who is married to her faith.
Watching her mother bemoan her fate, you could feel and touch her grief; she seems bereft of joy and simply goes through the motions everyday, like someone who has signed out on laughter and the melody of tumbrels and harps. Life has not treated me well; she thundered! before taking short trip with her older daughter to the world of coma. They were resuscitated by sympathisers afterwards.
The good news is that Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ must surely glorify Himself in this episode; because, He cannot be mocked. He will make a celebrity out of that girl, if she tarries to the end of the movie without compromising her faith.
This interesting episode has thrown up the principal reason behind the Boko Haram extremism, herders satanism etc, as battle for religious dominance and control(Jihad Expansion Scheme). All the girls would have been returned at the same time, if the script writers(sponsors) and actors(Boko Haram) were after western education only.
The heroic reception accorded to the Sect Group, the platform awarded to them to sermonise on their weird ideologies and President Buhari’s unconditional offer of amnesty to them; shows that Boko Haram is now a lucrative business in Nigeria under the present administration. Making them look like heroes have invalidated the arithmetic claims by the Federal Government that they have been technically defeated.
Like some closet gladiators bursting through their self-woven sheathe of tact and obscurity, the directors added water to acid(scientific anathema) in their poorly choreographed tragicomedy by denying that no ransom was paid to the supposedly abductors to free the girls. They have no doubt, planted apple tree in Lagos by that statement. That submission sampled the movie as a huge box office hit for political caricature, comedy jokes etc, and a must watch in the cinemas.
This development is most unfortunate because the orphaned monies meant to boost the economy are channelled to the wrong ventures. The ventures are to score cheap political points against past administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan for political capital
ahead of 2019.
The script writers, the producers, the directors, and actors of this script should know that this movie is too cheap(funny) to win 2019 Oscar Award.Nigeria is now turning to a cinema centre(gigantic paradox).
As we wait with bated breath for the next episode(season two), let us rejoice with the joyful families of the girls that returned from the excursion and pray that God will ship back Leah Sharibu(Just got information that she has returned as am writing) and other remaining Chibok girls unhurt.
GOD BLESS YOU
