THE DONALD TRUMP’S DRAMA (SAY NO TO RACISM)

The world became a movie theatre as the comic President of the United States of America cracked the most laughable joke of the millennium by stepping in as the world’s funniest comedian,movie star, sensation maker by displaying some innate acting skills in a fashion that is akin to playing the only character in a Hollywood movie. With the latest strings pulled by Trump, one would wonder why the world’s supposedly leader of leaders chooses to be dancing “SURUGEDE” in public knowing fully well that such dance is of the spirit. It is said that a man who did not know where the rain start to engage him will not know when the rain disengages from him. Trump should have developed his TV reality and acting potentials because that would have displayed his personality more than political leadership.

It is indeed a sad day for the world,environment and environmentalists as we gear up to celebrate World Environment Day on Monday June 5 2017 because of a singular decision taken by one actor.

Trump had on Thursday June 1, made good a campaign promise to cancel the December 2015 Paris Agreement and Obama-era regulations by saying that they were decimating industries and killing jobs. He virtually cloned the Paris Accord ”hoax” claiming he does not believe in climate change and that America was not given a fair treatment in the agreement unlike “China” and “India”, hoping to review and renegotiate or forever do away with it.

In a 21st century, when solar power industry employs more than 3 million people globally sitting as the fastest growing industry in the world. It is therefore shocking that Trump’s animosity with China could degenerate to the celestial world as he claims that Climatic Change was created by them to avoid hazardous emissions and destruction of their sophisticated solar farm planted on top of the waters for selfish reasons. This is so unfortunate because the ice melting temperature must not be more than 2 degrees centigrade, if that happens; a lot of area will be flooded across the world.

More than 190 nations agreed to the accord in December 2015 in Paris, and 147 have since formally ratified or otherwise joined it, including the United States -representing more than 80 percent of the world’s greenhouse emissions. Withdrawing the US from from the agreement could take years because of the accord’s legal structure and language but such a move would weaken its goals almost immediately because they are the world’s second largest greenhouse gas emitter.

             CONSEQUENCES!!!

Trump has by that singular leadership mistake wronged most of the world leaders like French President-Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor-Angela Merkel, Italian Prime Minister-Justin Trudeau, British Prime Minister-Theresa May, Chinese President- Xi Jinping, Indian Prime Minister-Narendra Modi etc. He has cemented his reputation as the international Disrupter- In-Chief both in commitment, trade, leadership and global consensus. The development will seriously complicate any effort President Trump makes to build a counterterrorism coalition or mobilize the west on any set of policy issues. America have indirectly declared vacant the world seat of power that have been occupied by them over the years. They have also unconsciously transferred world leadership to China which might easily feast on their lapses.

Trump has also plotted his name in the wrong side of history as the most criticized American leader, both by the people and other world leaders. He has demonstrated with practical moves and decisions, brazen racism and hatred for other continents especially Africa by showing verbally and attitudinally personal vendetta against the legacies of the Barack Obama Administration. He has almost succeeded in dusting his historical footprints to make good his natural discriminatory stand on Africa’s colour, education,geographical location,leadership and existence as a people. By embarrassing the Obama leadership knowing that he is of African descent, he is simply driving home his earlier claim that Africa is peopled by mediocres and animal like human beings that are not capable of a significant place in the world reckoning.

We as Africans have to correct this erroneous Trump’s impression by praying and working hard to rise to the world acclaimed standard in all spheres of life in order to shame our critics. As we watch the unfolding world telemundo, As Trump walk the lonely and sagging bridge obviously existing in a planet acting all by himself as other world leaders make resolute and irreversible their stand on December 2015 Paris Accord by declaring it global responsibility, non-negotiable for the future of the unborn generations and the safety of the world at large.
